AFK Keyboard Presser — Automatic Key Press Tool

You're playing an idle game, farming materials, or waiting through a long upload. Your finger can't stay on the same key for an hour. Automated Keyboard Presser does it for you — pick the key, set the speed, hit a hotkey, and walk away.

What It Does

Automated Keyboard Presser is a small, portable Windows app that repeatedly presses or holds a keyboard key at the interval you set. You control it with a single global hotkey — F6 by default — that works even if the app is minimized or you're in a full-screen game.

The tool covers AFK farming in incremental and idle games, keeping your PC awake during downloads, repetitive data-entry work, UI test loops, and any other situation where a human finger would otherwise be stuck. The app sends standard keyboard events through the operating system, nothing more.

One download, no installation, no account, no ads. Works on Windows 10 and 11.

Common Scenarios

Idle or incremental game: Set the interval to 50–200 ms and press the main action key. The app will tap it repeatedly while you're away.

Keep PC awake: Set a 30–60 second interval on Space or any key. Useful during slow downloads, long file transfers, or presentations where the screensaver would kick in.

Hold a key down: Tick Hold key down instead of Tap. The key stays pressed continuously, as if the physical key were stuck. Good for games that measure hold duration.

Anti-cheat concern: Online multiplayer titles with kernel-level anti-cheat may forbid input automation. The app makes no attempt to hide what it's doing. Check your game's terms of service first.

How to Set Up in 5 Minutes

  1. Download and unzip. The archive is self-contained. Unzip it anywhere — Desktop, Documents, a USB stick — and run the .exe from there. Nothing to install.
  2. Click Set Key. Press the keyboard key you want repeated. Any key works: letters, Space, Enter, arrows, function keys, numeric pad keys.
  3. Enter the interval. Type milliseconds between presses. 5 ms for rapid taps in an idle game. 30,000 ms (30 seconds) for a slow anti-idle heartbeat during uploads. Or tick Hold key down to keep the key pressed continuously.
  4. Optional: add jitter. Tick Randomize ± and set a jitter window so each press doesn't land at exactly the same millisecond. Helps if you're worried about looking too robotic.
  5. Hit Start or press F6. The hotkey works from any window, including minimized apps and full-screen games. Press F6 again to stop.

Why This Works Better

Automated Keyboard Presser uses SendInput plus hardware scan codes, so the keystrokes land reliably in games and remote sessions that reject older automation tools. The input is indistinguishable from a real keyboard.

The global hotkey works everywhere — no need to switch back to the app window to start or stop. Minimized, behind a game, in a remote desktop, doesn't matter.

Session counter shows how many times the key has fired since you hit Start. If you're farming to a specific number, you can stop at the exact right moment.

Zero background services. Close the window, the process ends. Nothing lingers in the system tray or runs when you're not looking.
