Timed Key Presser — Automated Keyboard Presser for Windows

You need a key pressed over and over, and you need it now. Automated Keyboard Presser does exactly that: pick a key, set the interval, hit start, walk away.

What It Does

Automated Keyboard Presser is a small Windows utility that presses or holds down any keyboard key at a rhythm you control. Fire rapid taps for incremental games. Hold a key down for a slow anti-idle heartbeat. Set the interval from 5 milliseconds to 10 minutes—whatever your scenario needs.

One global hotkey (F6 by default, rebindable to F1–F12) starts and stops the pressing from anywhere: your game window, a minimized app, even a full-screen session. Close the app, it stops. No background process, no tray service.

This works for AFK farming in idle and clicker games, long test loops that repeat the same input, repetitive data entry, or keeping your machine awake during a slow download. Anywhere a human finger would sit on one key for an hour.

How to Set It Up

  1. Download and unzip Get the portable build from automatedkeyboardpresser.com, unzip the folder to Documents, Desktop, or a USB stick. Run the .exe. No install, no admin prompt.
  2. Pick your key Click Set Key in the window, then press the key you want repeated. Letters, digits, Space, Enter, arrows, function keys, numeric pad—any key works.
  3. Enter the interval Type how many milliseconds between presses. 100 ms for a steady tap. 5 ms for fast mashing in a clicker. 30,000 ms (30 seconds) for a slow anti-idle pulse.
  4. Choose tap or hold For rapid repeated presses, leave Hold unchecked. For continuous pressure—like holding Space to swim in a game—tick Hold key down.
  5. Add jitter (optional) Tick Randomize ± and set a window (e.g., ±20 ms) so each interval varies slightly. Breaks up the metronome pattern if a game or system watches for mechanical repetition.
  6. Start and stop Click Start in the app window, or press F6 from any other window. The hotkey works even if the app is hidden behind a full-screen game. Press F6 again to stop.

Real Scenarios

**Idle game farming:** Set key to Space or a number, interval to 500–2000 ms. The game stays active while you step away. Check back to sell your loot or claim your reward.

**Keeping awake during a download:** Set interval to 60,000 ms (1 minute), key to Space or a harmless key. Windows sees activity, screen stays on, Wi-Fi does not drop the connection.

**UI test loops:** Tap the same button or key 1000 times in a row. Set interval to 100–200 ms, enable the session counter, and stop at exactly the number you need.

**Accessibility:** Hold down a key that would otherwise require sustained physical pressure. The Hold option removes the need to repeat commands—just one press and the key stays down until you toggle it off.

Why This Tool

It is portable—no installation, no registry changes, no admin rights. Copy it to a USB stick and run it on any Windows machine.

The input uses SendInput plus hardware scan codes, so it reaches into games and remote desktops that reject older, simpler automation tools.

One small window, one hotkey, zero complexity. No settings tree, no tabs, no learning curve.

Completely free, MIT licensed, no ads, no account, no telemetry. Download once and use forever.

Questions

Will this get me banned in my game?

The app sends standard keyboard events, nothing hidden. Online games with kernel-level anti-cheat may forbid any input automation. Check your game's terms of service before using it.

Does it work in full-screen games?

Yes. The global hotkey works even when a game runs full-screen and the app window is minimized.

Can I use it on Mac or Linux?

No. Automated Keyboard Presser is Windows only (10 and 11, 64-bit).

Is there a cloud version or online tool?

No. The app is portable and runs on your PC. It does not touch the network.

What if I want to press two keys at once?

This tool presses one key per session. For multi-key combos, check your game's macro settings or accessibility features.

How do I uninstall it?

Delete the folder. There is nothing to uninstall.
