Auto Keyboard Presser for Games

An auto keyboard presser lets you farm AFK, test loops, or keep your PC awake without holding down a key for hours. Automated Keyboard Presser is a free, portable Windows tool that does exactly that — pick your key, set the pace, hit a hotkey, and walk away.

Why You Need an Auto Keyboard Presser

Idle and incremental games reward you for staying in-game. An auto key presser handles the repetitive input while you do something else — no script, no account login, just a steady key press at the interval you choose.

Beyond games, the tool covers accessibility (holding a key without finger strain), keeping your PC awake during slow downloads, running long UI test loops, and any task that would otherwise chain your hand to the keyboard.

The key is reliability. You need a rhythm you can trust — not a jittery emulation that games flag or that breaks under load. Automated Keyboard Presser uses SendInput with hardware scan codes, so your input lands even in games and remote sessions where older tools fall silent.

Real Game Scenarios

**Clicking a harvest button in an incremental game:** Set the key to Space, interval to 500 ms, Tap mode. Walk away for 30 minutes while the game ticks up.

**Holding forward in an AFK farming zone:** Set the key to W, interval to 100 ms, Hold mode. The game sees a continuous key press. The session counter shows you how long it has been running.

**Mining or gathering in an idle game:** Set to Left Mouse Button equivalent or the confirm key, interval to 2000 ms, Tap mode. Anti-idle heartbeat that looks human-ish.

**Remote desktop or long upload:** Set to Space or any neutral key, interval to 120 seconds (120,000 ms), Tap mode. Your PC stays awake and does not lock.

How to Set Up Your Auto Key Presser in 5 Minutes

  1. Download and unzip. No install step. Unzip the folder to Documents, Desktop, or a USB stick and launch the app. That is the whole setup.
  2. Click Set Key and press the key you want repeated. Any key works — letters, Space, Enter, arrows, function keys, numeric pad. Pick once, you are done.
  3. Enter an interval in milliseconds. Fast games need 50–100 ms for rapid taps. Idle games often use 1000–5000 ms. Keep-awake tasks use 30–60 seconds. Start with a guess, adjust later.
  4. Choose Tap or Hold. Tap fires repeated presses at your interval. Hold keeps the key pressed down continuously, like your finger is stuck on it.
  5. Press Start or F6. F6 is the default global hotkey — it toggles the presser on and off from any window, even full-screen games. Rebind to F1–F12 if you need to.

What You Get — No Strings Attached

Automated Keyboard Presser is free forever. No trial, no locked buttons, no Pro tier, no ads, no telemetry. MIT licensed, open-minded about how you use it.

One small window, one hotkey, one job. No settings tree, no tray clutter, no background service that stays running after you close the app. Zero network calls.

Intervals range from 5 ms (rapid-fire taps) to 10 minutes (heartbeat). Add random jitter so the pattern does not read as a metronome. A session counter tracks how many presses have fired since you hit Start.

Portable build for Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. Download the ZIP, unzip, run. To remove it, delete the folder.

Common Questions

Will this get me banned in my game?

Online games with kernel-level anti-cheat may forbid input automation. This app makes no attempt to hide what it is doing, so check your game's terms of service. Single-player and idle games are fine. If the game does not allow it, do not use it there.

Do I need to install it?

No. It is a portable build. Unzip and run. Nothing touches the registry or requires admin rights.

Does it work in remote desktop or full-screen games?

Yes. The global hotkey (F6 by default) works from any window, including full-screen games and remote sessions. Input lands reliably because the app uses SendInput with hardware scan codes.

Can I rebind the hotkey?

Yes. The default is F6, but you can change it to any F1–F12 key.

Does it need the internet or an account?

No. The app does not touch the network and does not ask for a login.
